''So, I was contemplating posting this. It's not the greatest picture I've ever done, and it's not even finished. Also, it's morbid, a little creepy, and not the kind of work I usually do. But, there's a lot of emotion and pain packed into this simple image. That's the thing about art. Some people cut, some people drink, some people take drugs to relieve their stress and pain. But art is my escape from reality. It's an outlet to feelings that can't be put into words or be known by other people. You put your energy, a piece of your mind, a piece of your soul onto paper to create something horribly beautiful. This picture is just a minor reflection of the many emotional struggles that I face on a daily basis.'' - March 8, 2014
